The Rising Sun

THE RISING SUN - Umberleigh
This traditional 13th Century inn overlooking the River Taw offers you a superb choice of dining. They provide the finest traditional food with a twist. The menu, which is available throughout the pub, offers a wide variety of meat, poultry and game and fish. All the fish is landed at local Devon fishing harbours and the meat is reared on some of the finest farms in Devon and the Westcountry.

Just over a mile from South Devon
is - The Old George - a small country pub in the village of High Bickington. Here you can be sure of a warm welcome and the food they serve in their small restaurant is excellent. It is also very reasonably priced. Children welcome.

This 16th century former coaching inn is situated in the village of Croyde and offers an excellent range of beers and real ales. there is an extensive menu along with daily specials and traditional Sunday Lunches, which can be taken in the bar or old barn dining room.
